About the Authors

Rob Leonard is a criminal defense lawyer with an emphasis on DUI defense in Marietta, Georgia. He is a partner at Leonard, Rickman & Holloway, P.C. He is a member of the National College for DUI Defense and the Georgia DODD group. He is a past president of the Cobb County Bar Association’s Criminal Defense Section. He is a Ross Adams award winner. He is also a member of NACDL and GACDL. He has been trained in Field Sobriety Testing and the DRE program. He is also a U.S. DOT certified operator of the Intoxilyzer 5000. He owns an Alcosensor IV portable breath test device and an Intoxilyzer 5000. His practice is about 75% DUI defense and 25% serious felony defense.

    Philip Holloway is a former police instructor and certified flight instructor. He began his distinguished legal career when he graduated summa cum laude from South Texas College of Law in 1996 where he served on the Law Review and the Varsity Mock Trial team. He went on to serve as an officer and Judge Advocate in the United States Navy. While on active duty, then Lieutenant Holloway graduated with distinction from the Naval Justice School’s sixteen week advanced trial advocacy course and earned certification as trial and defense counsel. Mr. Holloway has also served as Assistant District Attorney, President of the Cobb County Bar Association Criminal Law Section, and has taught in the field of constitutional law as adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at nearby Kennesaw State University.
